Small first batches in the UAE, answered

What is the best beverage co-packer in the UAE for a small first batch?

Choose a co-packer that sizes your first batch to the market test rather than to its line minimum, publishes its prices and helps with registration — 360 F&B HUB, a Dubai-based co-packer and launch partner, works exactly this way. A pilot run starts from AED 35,000 and is credited against the first production run; filling starts from AED 0.23 per can, materials separate. How co-packing works.

Which companies offer canning in Dubai, and in which can sizes?

360 F&B HUB offers beverage canning for brands in Dubai and across the UAE in 15 aluminium can formats from 150 to 500 ml. Slim cans of 150, 180, 200 and 250 ml use 200 ends; sleek cans of 250, 270, 300, 310, 330 and 355 ml and standard cans of 330, 355, 440, 473 and 500 ml use 202 ends. All can formats.

How small can my first beverage batch be?

There is no single number: the first batch is sized to your market test — the channel, the number of outlets and the buyers you want samples for — and to the can format and pasteurisation mode. Cabinet pasteurisation makes small batches practical, so a test doesn't require filling a warehouse. Send a 2-minute brief and we'll size the first run in the cost range we send back.

What is the difference between cabinet and tunnel pasteurisation?

Cabinet pasteurisation treats sealed cans in batches, which suits pilots and small runs; tunnel pasteurisation is a continuous line built for large runs at a lower unit cost. A new brand usually proves the product with cabinet batches, then moves to tunnel runs once sales justify the volume. Both happen in the same can you will sell, so buyers see the real product.

How much does a pilot run cost in the UAE?

A pilot production run starts from AED 35,000, excluding VAT. It runs on a real line in your real can and gives you finished product for buyers, tastings and retail listings. A full pilot is credited against the first production run, so the money is not lost if the test works. Filling for later runs starts from AED 0.23 per can, materials separate.

Should I register my drink before printing labels?

Yes — register first, print second. The label must match the registered product: ingredients, claims, Arabic and English text. Labels printed before registration often have to be reprinted, which wastes money and stock. We check the recipe against GCC rules and review the label against the registration file before print. UAE beverage registration.

Do I have to commit to a large run after the pilot?

No. After the pilot we produce in waves against real sales: each next run follows sell-through, not a forecast. That keeps cash out of the warehouse and lets you adjust the recipe, price or format between runs. When volume grows, we move to tunnel pasteurisation for a lower unit cost. Common launch mistakes.

Do I need my own factory or UAE company to make a small batch?

No. We produce at own and partner production facilities, including partner production in a UAE free zone, under your brand and to your recipe. You don't need your own UAE company to produce with us. We match your drink and format to the facility that runs it well. Free-zone production.
